While working with the order, it may become necessary to perform actions for which the employee serving the order has no rights.
The Registration operation allows the employee with the necessary rights to register in the order temporarily.
It is possible to register in two ways:
Registration with the employee’s magnetic card in the order editing mode
Register the employee in the open order — swipe the magnetic card through the magnetic card reader. After that, the order will show the information about a temporary registration, and the name of the registered employee will be displayed in the list of the order main parameters.
Registration in the Temporary Registration mode
If the employee’s code and password are used to register at the cash station, the temporary registration should be done in the temporary registration mode.
To do this, tap the Register button in the function keys area.
Then the Registration form will open. Enter the code and password of the employee or swipe their magnetic card.
After that, the order will show the information about a temporary registration, and the name of the registered employee will be displayed in the list of the order main parameters.
To exit the Temporary Registration mode, tap on the Temporary Registration area in the order.
To cancel a temporary registration, the Undo man. functions operation is used. Another way to cancel a temporary registration is to swipe the card of the employee with a permanent registration in the current order.
If a discount or currency is assigned to the employee’s registration card — for example, to pay for lunch — such employee must only be registered using the Temporary registration mode.
If a temporary registering employee does not have the rights to edit the open order, a corresponding warning is shown, and the employee may start working with their permanent registration.
