Problem

The physical protection key is broken, and it is unclear what to do next.

Solution

The following conditions must be met to replace the damaged key:

The key must be a physical key;

The key must be linked to a specific dealer;

The status of the key must not be: InitOldSystem, Bad, or Replacement in Progress.

To start the key replacement procedure:

  1. Go to Orders > Key Replacement
  2. Select the necessary object

  3. In the Add Key form, choose the required key.

  4. Confirm your key selection by clicking the Save button

    1. Upon clicking the Save button, the key replacement order will be assigned a status of Draft, and editing of the order will be available. 

    2. Upon clicking the Order button, the key replacement order will be assigned a status of Ordered, and editing of the order will no longer be available.

  5. After confirming the replacement order, all master licenses linked to the faulty key will be released and can be used on the new key.

    Attention!
    All licenses generated on the new key will be temporary until the return order for the key is confirmed and the physical return of the key to the r_keeper office!
  6. After confirming the order and returning the faulty keys to the r_keeper office, go to the Key Return menu and select the necessary object.

  7. Similarly to the key replacement order, select the faulty key.

  8. Click Make Order.

  9. Please return the faulty key to the r_keeper office.
