SOS Code is a temporary license generated in emergency cases. It can only be used if it is impossible to generate an active license.
Period of use:
For LifeTime licenses — from 15 to 45 days
For subscription software with a SAAS hierarchy type — 5 days
SOS Code and SOS License are synonyms.
When creating an SOS code, it is mandatory to specify the reason or justification.
SOS licenses can be generated for the following reasons:
To replace equipment, in case of its breakdown, modernization and other similar reasons
To replace keys when they break
Emergency installation — it is necessary to urgently launch the software to enable the client to work
Emergency upgrade is an urgent software update for the client.
In emergency cases, an SOS code may be issued, which is valid for 5 days. The reasons for generating such a code are as follows:
Payment overdue
Launching an object running on a SAAS license on a weekend.
To generate an SOS code:
Log in to the licensing system
Go to menu References > Objects
Select your object and go to it. To find the desired object, use the magnifying glass button in the table header.
On the object page, click the New License button
In the license generation window, select Generate SOS. Click Next.
Fill in the request fields. Select the required license, specify the date, quantity. In the Comment field, specify the reason for renewal. Click Next.
Copy and use the SOS code for emergency license renewal.
Done.
You can generate an SOS code for a key only once.
If two SOS codes are generated for the same key, all existing SOS codes will be blocked for all objects, and a letter will be sent to the email about the appearance of an unprocessed object.
To be able to generate SOS codes again:
Pay for the software for which the SOS license was re-generatedClear the SOS code. To do this, write a letter to license@rkeeper.ru with reasons for using the code and the late payment of the invoice.
