Auto Open option
The "Auto-open" parameter applies to combo dishes and dishes with modifiers. It is assigned in the r_keeper_7 manager station.
Designed to increase sales of modifiers for dishes.
When you click the "Add" button on a combo dish or a dish with modifiers:
- if the modifier scheme properties (or the combo scheme properties) have "Auto-open" specified:
- a window opens with the first group (in the order specified in the r_keeper_7 manager station), regardless of whether this group contains mandatory modifiers (combo elements) or not; - if "Auto-open" is not specified in the modifier scheme properties (or in the combo scheme properties):
- a window opens with mandatory modifiers (combo elements), if any,
- a combo dish or a dish with modifiers is added to the order (if mandatory modifiers (combo elements) are not specified in the r_keeper_7 manager station.
The price of a modifier (combo element) is specified per unit. A zero price (free component) can also be specified. Adding a modifier is done by adding a quantity via the appropriate control (Switch or NumericStepper).
Displaying combo groups in a combo dish
Display of combo groups in a combo dish can be of 2 types:
- on one screen, when all combo groups and combo elements are displayed simultaneously;
- pop-up windows, when combo groups with their combo elements are displayed sequentially in pop-up windows. Recommended if the combo group is configured with 5 or more components and they do not fit on the screen.
To display combo groups on one screen, you need to set the COMBO GROUP DISPLAY FORMAT parameter to On one screen in the kiosk manager in the Settings > Theme Settings section.
To display combo groups in pop-up windows, you need to set the COMBO GROUP DISPLAY FORMAT parameter to Pop-up windows in the kiosk manager in the Settings > Theme Settings section.
