To change the set of modifiers or combo elements in a dish with modifiers or a combo dish, go to the dish editor (configurator).
General guidelines for setting up the display of dish configurators with modifiers or combo dishes:

Adding modifiers to dishes with modifiers

If the modifier scheme contains mandatory groups, the dish cannot be added to the order until the required number of modifiers are selected. In this case, a message about the need to select the required number of components is written in the group header ("You should select at least... components"), it is impossible to move to the next group and the Next or OK button becomes inactive.

If mandatory modifiers are set in a group, the name of the modifier group appears, and the Next or OK button becomes active.

If the modifier scheme contains several groups with mandatory modifiers, the groups are displayed in order (the order is determined by sorting in the r_keeper_7 manager station, menu Menu > Modifier schemes). Switching between groups is done using the Next and Back buttons.

If mandatory modifiers are not set in a group, the first group with optional modifiers is opened.

The order of the modifiers is determined by sorting in the r_keeper_7 manager station, in the Menu > Modifiers > [Modifier Group] reference.

To change the order of modifiers, you need to move the modifiers in the Menu > Modifiers > [Modifier Group] reference book by dragging them or using the Up and Down buttons in the context menu.

Adding combo elements to combo dishes

When choosing a combo dish

a choice of combo elements in combo groups is offered.

The order of the combo elements is determined by sorting in the r_keeper_7 manager station, in the Menu > Combo groups > [Combo group] reference.

To change the order of combo elements, you need to move the combo elements in the Menu > Combo Groups > [Combo Group] reference by dragging them or using the Up and Down buttons in the context menu.

Changing the number of combo elements (modifiers)

When selecting combo elements (modifiers), there are 2 possible ways to display changes in their quantity (control elements):

  • "Switch" (needed or not needed);

  • "NumericStepper" (selecting the number of modifier portions)

If in the properties of a group of combo elements (modifiers) in combo schemes (modifier schemes) (in the r_keeper manager panel) the maximum allowed number of components does not exceed 1 (the limit is set to Minimum quantity=1 and Maximum quantity=1 or Minimum quantity=0 and Maximum quantity=1), then the "Switch" control is displayed,

otherwise "NumericStepper". Clicking on "+" adds the quantity per unit (if "NumericStepper"), clicking on  changes the value from "No" to "Yes" and vice versa when clicked again (if "Switch").

Interrelation of modifiers (combo components)

If for a group of modifiers (combo components) the maximum allowed number of modifiers (combo components) does not exceed 1, and if the “Replace combo component” checkbox is additionally set and the modifier (combo component) itself is set by default,

then when adding a modifier (combo component), the previously selected one is automatically reset.

Otherwise, the previous one is not reset, and to add another component, you must first deactivate the previously selected one, and only then add another one.

If the number of free modifiers (combo components) in a group is specified, then the calculation is made as they are added. That is, for example, 3 modifiers (combo components) are free, then if you select the first three most expensive ones, and the fourth one is cheaper, only the price of the fourth modifier (combo component) will be taken into account.
If some modifiers (combo components) become inactive during the process, they are removed. In this case, an error may occur when adding a dish. For example, there are 2 mandatory modifiers in a group and their "Maximum use" is 1 (Combo groups > [Combo group] > Properties > Servings > Max. for 1 dish), and the lower limit is 2 (Combo schemes > [Combo group] > Properties > Basic > Minimum quantity), then when deactivating one combo component (modifier), it is impossible to reach the limit! If all components in the group become inactive, the group is hidden.

Auto-add modifiers (combo elements)

When adding a dish, you may not be prompted to set mandatory modifiers (combo elements), since the components have been automatically added. This happens if there is only 1 modifier (combo element) in the group, then its quantity immediately becomes equal to the upper limit. If there are several modifiers (combo elements) in the group and their total maximum quantity is greater than or equal to the upper limit, then the modifiers (combo elements) are automatically added.

Displaying limits when selecting modifiers and combo elements

To display minimum limits when selecting modifiers

and combo elements

in the manager panel settings, the parameter HIDE THE TITLE WITH DISPLAYING LIMITS WHEN SELECTING MODIFIERS AND COMBO ELEMENTS should be set to No.

If the minimum quantity for a modifier group (combo group) is not assigned in the modifier scheme (combo scheme) or is equal to 0, then the limits will not be displayed for the modifier group (combo group).

If the HIDE TITLE WITH DISPLAY OF LIMITS WHEN SELECTING MODIFIERS AND COMBOITEMS parameter is set to "Yes", then the limits will not be displayed when selecting a modifier.

Displaying the number of free modifiers/combo elements

To display the number of free modifiers

and combo elements

in the manager panel settings, you need to set the HIDE HEADING WITH DISPLAY OF FREE NUMBER OF MODIFIERS parameter to No.

The number of free modifiers is assigned in the r_keeper_7 manager panel in the Modifier Schemes/Combo Schemes reference book.

The number of free combo elements is assigned in the r_keeper_7 manager panel in the Combo scheme reference.
