The kiosk has the ability to send the following information to users by email:
- password for the kiosk shift (if used)
- message about blocking (unblocking) the kiosk with the reason for blocking/unblocking the kiosk.
Password for the shift
The kiosk shift password is required to access the service menu.
The password is located in the root folder of the kiosk in the pass.txt file.
The password is sent to the email:
- When you first start the kiosk after setting up the parameters and after closing the shift
- When closing the shift
- When you click the Resend Password button
The temporary kiosk password comes in the following form:
- The subject of the letter contains information about the kiosk's temporary password, the name of the cash register and the name of the cash server with which the kiosk works.
For example: Temporary password for the KIOSK CASHIER kiosk (CASHIER_MIDSERVER). - The message contains a temporary six-digit kiosk password.
For example: Shift password: 223200. This password will be valid for the current shift.
Lock/Unlock Message
Information about locking/unlocking the kiosk comes in the following form:
- The subject of the letter contains information about the kiosk locking (LOCKED/UNLOCKED), the name of the cash register and the name of the cash server with which the kiosk works.
For example: KIOSK CASHIER KIOSK (CASHIER_MIDSERVER) IS LOCKED. - The locking message indicates the reason for locking the kiosk.
For example: KIOSK_116: The shift has exceeded the set value. The unlock message states that the kiosk has been unlocked and the reason why the kiosk was locked.
For example: KIOSK CASHIER KIOSK (CASHIER_MIDSERVER) is unlocked. The kiosk was previously locked due to: KIOSK_124: Device unavailable (DeviceAvailable).
To set up sending emails, you need to fill in the following parameters in the manager panel in the section Settings > Manager settings:
- SETTINGS FOR SENDING EMAILS TO MAIL (SMTP SERVER HOST)
- SETTINGS FOR SENDING EMAILS TO MAIL (SMTP SERVER PORT)
- SETTINGS FOR SENDING EMAILS TO MAIL (USERNAME)
- SETTINGS FOR SENDING EMAILS TO MAIL (PASSWORD)
- MAIL FROM WHICH EMAILS ARE SENT
- MAIL TO WHICH EMAILS ARE SENT.
You also need to check that your mail agent allows you to send emails.
