Creating a selector page (group of menu items)
To create selector pages:
- In the r_keeper manager station go to the Menu > Menu tree directory
- In the left area of the directory, go to the Menu Tree and add a New Selector Page via the context menu
- In the properties of the created selector page, fill in:
- Name — enter the name that will be displayed on the Kiosk
- Status — activate the selector pages
- Self-service/Online orders. In the Large image file property, add the image that will be displayed on the Kiosk. Double-click on the property, a window for importing an image file from your PC directory will open
- Extended properties — enter the title and description of the selector page in all languages present in the option (if required). For certain selector pages, you will need to edit additional options in the Extended properties group (this will be described separately in the following chapters).
Structuring selector pages
All created selector pages (groups and subgroups of menu items) must be placed in levels in accordance with the required menu structure.
To form the first level of the menu, all the necessary first-level selector pages should be nested in the Initial Selection selector page. To do this, use the Drag-and-Drop method to drag the desired selector page to the Initial Selection selector page.
To form the second level of the menu, all the necessary second-level selector pages should be nested in the first-level selector pages.
To do this, use the Drag-and-Drop method to drag the desired selector page onto the first-level selector page.
Thus, a two-level menu structure will be formed: first-level menu groups, and within them second-level menu groups (subgroups).
If the menu structure assumes more than 2 levels of nesting, then the remaining levels are placed similarly to the second level. That is, the third—in the second, the fourth—in the third, etc.
Adding dishes (menu items) to the selector page
Dishes (menu items) in the selector page are not created from scratch, but are transferred from the Menu directory. To transfer a dish (menu item) to the selector page:
- Select the desired second-level selector page
- On the Selector Buttons tab, call the context menu (RMB)
- Select the Add Selector Button item
- Select the Menu Item object type.
Select the desired menu item from the opened Menu directory and click the OK button
To optimize your selection, you can select multiple menu items from one menu group at once by highlighting them using the Shift or Ctrl keys.
After that, the selector button/buttons for dishes will be created on the Selector Buttons tab on the selected second-level selector page.
