You can copy, cut and then paste text values or parts of them, objects, links to items that have their own properties. An item can be pasted without subitems or together with them.
For example, when copying a discount, you can paste it either with or without the details of this discount. In the first case, you should use the command, Paste with subitems (Ctrl + Alt + V), in the second case, use the command, Paste (Ctrl + V).

To work with text, select the Cut (key combination "Ctrl" + "X") or Copy (key combination "Ctrl" + "C") commands from the context menu. The selected text area is placed in the buffer. To paste from the buffer, use the mouse cursor to indicate the insertion point and use the Paste (key combination "Ctrl" + "V") command from the context menu. The standard Windows buffer, shared with other programs, is used.

To copy and paste (or cut and paste) an object, select it and use the Copy (Cut) context menu command (key combination "Ctrl" + "C" ("Ctrl" + "X") or the main menu command Edit – Copy (Cut)). The item will be placed in the buffer together with a set of properties. The image of the cut item contains an icon ("scissors").You can copy, cut and then paste not only one object, but two or more.

To insert an object or group of objects, select the group to insert in the tree, open the pop-up menu on the dish tab and use the Paste command (key combination "Ctrl" + "V" or the Paste with subitems command ("Ctrl" + "Alt" + "V")). The copied item will be inserted with the inactive status.

When copying, the properties of an item are copied, except for the property groups Prices, Classifications, and Belonging to Trade Groups. Using the Cut and Paste commands is equivalent to dragging an object from one parent group to another.

Cutting an item in non-trash mode and pasting it in trash mode is the same as deleting the item. Cutting an item in trash mode and pasting it in non-trash mode is the same as restoring the item to the selected parent group.

When performing Copy and Paste actions with links (for example, the Trade Groups directory), the item is copied and pasted without changing its status. The Cut action is not available for links.

In the Modifier Schemes and Print Schemes directories, properties are defined for links (to modifier groups and to document layouts). When you execute the Copy and Paste (and Cut and Paste) commands in these directories, the links are copied (cut) along with their property values. If you paste a link with a name that already exists in this parent group, its property values will be replaced by the link's property values from the clipboard.
