When the following conditions are met, it is guaranteed:

• Application cold startup time will take no longer than 60 seconds
• Application hot start time will take no longer than 40 seconds
• The maximum response time will be no longer than 5 seconds.
  

  Mobile devices

  The r_keeper Waiter mobile application is supported on both Android and iOS.

  Android device requirements

  • Android 7.0 and up
  • 5-inch display or bigger, FullHD resolution
  • 2GB RAM or more
  • 16GB Storage or more
  • Battery Capacity: 3000 mAh or more
  • CPU: MTK, Snapdragon, Exynos, 4x1.7MHz+
  • Network availability via WiFi or cellular communication
  • Optional: a camera for scanning QR and barcodes
  • Optional: NFC for scanning RFID tags
  • Optional: Bluetooth for connecting to cash registers and POS terminals.

  iOS device requirements

  • IOS: the latest current version, because the project is built on the current Xcode, which requires the current version
  • 5-inch display or bigger, FullHD resolution or more
  • 2GB RAM or more
  • 16GB Storage or more
  • Battery Capacity: 3000 mAh or more
  • CPU: Apple A9 or higher
  • Network availability via WiFi or cellular communication
  • Optional: a camera for scanning QR and barcodes
  • Optional: NFC for scanning RFID tags
  • Optional: Bluetooth for connecting to cash registers and POS terminals.

  r_keeper ver. 7

  R_keeper ver. 7.07.00 and higher is recommended. Old versions may operate correctly but it is not guaranteed.

  Cash server configured to work with Mobile Waiter 5 is needed.

  Network connection

  To synchronize with the cash server, you must have a stable network connection with the following characteristics:

  • Available cash server host and port specified when configuring r_keeper Waiter 5
  • Minimum bandwidth should be at least 1 Mbps in both directions
  • The delay between client and server should be no more than 150 msec.
  • A packet loss rate of no more than 1% is acceptable
  • It is possible to work with the application even if there is no connection with r_keeper 7, but before that the application must have been synchronized with the cash server at least once
  • The maximum number of r_keeper Waiter 5 running simultaneously (in the absence of other connections to the cash server) cannot exceed 21.

  Menus and databases

  It is recommended to use no more than 15,000 entries in the menu structure. They include dishes, patterns, groups and modifiers.

  The number of inactive or active but unused items in a particular restaurant menu should not be more than 3 times the number of active items.
