Modifiers can be configured for a number of dishes. They clarify the process of preparing or serving dishes and can be mandatory or optional.
Modifiers are additional characteristics of a dish that clarify the cooking or serving process and can change its price and composition. For example, modifiers can be: degree of roasting, sauces, toppings, and so on.

Modifiers can be either general (available for selection with any dish) or private (configured for a specific dish). Private ones can be either mandatory (without their choice, the dish cannot be added to the order) or non-mandatory (additional).

A dish can have both mandatory and non-mandatory modifiers assigned to it.

Mandatory modifiers

If a dish has at least one mandatory modifier group assigned to it, then when adding it to the order, the dish editing mode (curtain) automatically opens. For each mandatory group, a minimum and maximum selection quantity is specified. And for each modifier, the maximum possible selection quantity is indicated. The quantity and mandatory status of modifiers are configured in the manager module of r_keeper.

Check the required modifiers and set their quantity.  After selecting all the required modifiers, tap the Done button (the button will become active only after selecting the required number of modifiers).

If a default modifier is configured for a mandatory group, it will automatically be selected by the system. If the minimum number of mandatory modifiers is set to more than one, then as many default modifiers will be automatically selected as indicated for the minimum number.

Additional modifiers

If only optional modifiers are assigned to a dish, then to select them, go to the dish editing mode:

The item drop-down list will display groups of private optional modifiers and general ones.  Each private group has a maximum number to select from. And each modifier indicates the maximum number possible for selection. The number and mandatory modifiers are configured in the r_keeper manager module.

In groups of general modifiers, the number of modifiers to choose from is unlimited.

Select all the modifiers you want and tap Done.

Comment on the dish

To add a comment to a dish, tap the button .

Enter your message and tap Done.

To add a comment to a dish, use a General modifier with an open name (in the properties of the modifier, the checkbox Input name should be checked). If several such general modifiers are created, the modifier with the highest code will be used for the comment. If a general modifier with an open name is not added to the modifier reference, the comment button will not be displayed on the screen.

Paid modifiers

Modifiers can have a positive or negative price.  When choosing such modifiers, the price of the dish will change up or down.

Displaying modifiers in the order

In order mode, all selected modifiers will be displayed in the line under the name of the dish.

You can change the composition of modifiers for a dish (add, change, or remove) only before Sending the dish, by switching to the dish editing mode either from the order mode,

or by tapping on the added dish in the order area when the setting Order on the menu screen is enabled.
