Starting from version 4.9.530 of r_k Waiter, support for handling recommended menu items has been implemented.

The Waiter will be able to recommend menu items to guests based on previously ordered items, thereby encouraging upselling.

Settings in the r_keeper Manager Panel (Service Menu)

1. In the directory Settings > Parameters, enable the Self-Service/Web Orders parameter.  

2. In the directory Menu > Menu, within the properties of the menu item in the Self-Service/Web Orders section, specify the recommended menu items related to the specific dish in the Recommended Menu Items field.
   
   

Functionality in the Application

If recommended items are set for a menu item in the management system, a button  will become available for that item 

• when selected in the menu
  
  
• and in the order.
  
  The Recommended button is accessible for both sent and unsent menu items, even if recommendations have already been selected.

Upon clicking this button, a window will open displaying the list of recommended menu items.

Select the desired items, and they will be added to the order.
