A serving position restricts work with the list of tables on the hall plan. For example, servicing the VIP zone only by certain employees, i.e., a serving position links an employee and a table/group of tables/hall plan.
A serving position can be assigned to an individual table, several tables (possibly from different hall plans), or a hall plan.

A serving position specified in the table's properties takes precedence over one assigned to the hall plan.

A hall included in a serving position may have one or more tables belonging to another serving position.

Each table can belong to only one serving position.

Tables without a selected serving position are available for selection by all personnel registered at the station.

When logging into the cash register, an employee may be assigned a default serving position (the position automatically assigned upon registration) or another position within their access rights.

In order for serving positions to be accessible, it is necessary to enable the parameter Use Serving Positions.

For registering to a required serving position, an employee requires the following permissions: May Register Others, May Register to any Serving Position, May Self-Register.

Confirmation of the selected serving position for an employee can be done by someone with the permission "May Register Others".

If serving positions change every shift, it is necessary to cancel the registration of all employees at the end of each shift. When cancelling manually, the employee must have the permission Personnel Registration or activate the parameter "Auto Cancellation of Registration".
