Search for objects can be carried out within each directory. 

To Search, use the magnifying glass search button in the quick access menu.

In the search area, start typing the name of the desired object. All objects with these characters in their names will appear in the list. In this case, the search is performed within a specific group.

To search for the entire contents of the directory, press the overview mode button. 

Overview mode

Using the button on the toolbar, you can switch the directory editors to the overview mode. In this mode, the window does not have a hierarchy tree. Each page of the reference editor contains all objects of a certain type. The name of the pages corresponds to the names of the object types they contain.

The number of pages is equal to the number of types of objects in the directory. For example, the Currencies directory in the overview mode contains three pages: Currency Types, Currencies, Denominations, and the Menu directory contains two pages: Dish Groups, Dishes.
The Inspector area displays the properties of the selected object.

The following operations are prohibited in the overview mode:

• Adding new objects;
• Pasting objects from the buffer (completing operations, Copy and Paste);
• Changing the order of sequence and priorities.

The remaining operations can be performed in the same way as in the standard window presentation mode.

When exiting the "overview mode", the selection on the item remains unchanged. So, if before exiting the "overview mode" the dish "Soup" was selected, when switching to the reference window presentation mode with a group tree, all parent groups of this dish will be expanded in the tree, and the selection will be set to the dish "Soup".
