A number of item properties are repeated in many directories. Let's consider the general properties of items below.
Some properties may be hidden from viewing or editing due to restrictions on the rights of a specific user. In this case, additional information should be obtained from the system administrator. |
Each item has a list of properties, combined into groups. Each property of the object has a name and a value. The property values can be specified manually or assigned automatically by the system.
Sometimes, to edit a property, you need to enter the internal editor (in the property value by pressing the "Enter" button
Property value formats can be of the following types:
1. Text. Enter text from the keyboard. Maximum 40 characters.2. Integer. Only integer input is possible. Input of other characters is not possible. The number can be entered from the keyboard or using the arrows to increase or decrease the value.
If the entered value does not meet the acceptable conditions, an error message will appear on the screen.
3. Entering a number by format. Used to enter a fractional number. A period or a comma can be used as a separator between the integer and fractional parts. If no separator is entered, all significant digits entered will form the integer part of the number, and zeros will be automatically added to the fractional part of the number in this case.
4. Date, time.
The value can be entered from the keyboard or by using the button to select a value from the calendar.
or the keyboard shortcut "Alt" + "↓".
6. Select from the list using the button or enter the corresponding directory using the button .
The selected property value is displayed with its status icon. The following options are possible:
- an item with the status "Active";
- an item with the status "Inactive";
- an item with the status "Draft";
- the item is "Active" but its parent has the status "Inactive";
- the item has the status "Deleted" or is not in the list.
In directories, you can add, edit, and delete items and save changes. To select an item from a directory, select it in the Items area and click the OK button at the bottom of the window. To cancel selecting items from a directory, click the Cancel button.
7. Checkbox. Checkbox is set and removed by clicking the left mouse button.8. Conventionally used value.
9. Comments. The text entry window is opened using the button .
If the value of a property cannot be changed, the property name is displayed in gray.Incorrectly filled properties or mandatory but not filled properties are marked in red.
In some cases, filling in fields can be interrelated. This means that defining a value in one field automatically leads to defining a property value in another field (for example, setting or removing a flag, or changing the property value).
In other cases, defining the value of a property may require defining another, related property. The display of such a situation in the tabular form of the properties output and in the Inspector property output form is different.
When the Inspector properties output form is used, the properties associated with the selected value and required for its clarification are added to the list.
For ease of use, the properties are grouped. Some groups are repeated in many directories, some are unique.
Editing the values of some properties can be done in different dictionaries. For example, inclusion of an item in a trade group can be assigned in the dictionary of trade groups by adding or removing a reference to the item, or in the item directory in its properties.
Some property fields, in addition to the value input field, include a flag field. This means that the value in such a field may or may not be taken into account by the system, depending on whether the flag is set or cleared. For numeric properties, the property value cannot be absent (if the value is not defined, it is considered zero). For non-numeric properties, you can edit the flag field only after selecting a value. Before selecting a property value (if the property value is not defined), the flag field has a gray background and is not editable.
Example: In the Special Discount field, the value is not selected, so the checkbox field has a gray background.
The flag is not set in the Bar field, so the value entered in it will not be taken into account by the system. The flag is set in the Buffet field, so the value entered in it will be taken into account by the system.
In the table view of items, a property value field that cannot be edited without defining a value for its associated property is shaded with a gray background.
