Introduction

This article describes the installation and setup of r_keeper Menuboard Pro.

Installation

Download the installation file from the FTP server at ftp://ftp.ucs.ru/rk7/other/Menuboard_Pro/.
Run the Menuboard installer, Menuboard_setup-X.X.exe. Select the installation language and follow the instructions.

The only important setting during installation is the selection of the port via which Menuboard will be available.

This port should be free.

When the installation is complete, the Menuboard server will function as a service and be configured to autorun.

Cash Server Connection

Let us move on to connection setup. When installation is complete, a Menuboard will appear on your desktop. By clicking it you access the main menu.

To connect to r_keeper_7, Menuboard should be connected to the POS server.

1. Click the icon in the top right corner
2. Select the Settings
   menu item
3. Fill in the following fields:
   1. HTTP int.: addressis the IP address of the POS server. In this case it is 0.0.1
   2. HTTP int.: port is the POS server port. In this case it is 8086
   3. RK7: loginis the login and password of an r_keeper_7 user allowing to sign in to Menuboard. In this case it is http
4. Press the Checkbutton to check the POS server connection settings. If everything is correct, you will see a message on successful connection
5. If the server displays an error, please go to the installation folder Menuboard\Log and review the logs. 
6. If the settings are correct, save them by pressing the Save button 
   

Please note that without a license Menuboard will not connect to the POS server.

1. Restart the Menuboard service
2. After restarting, the fields POS Server Codeand Restaurant Code will have the values you entered
3. Optionally, you can select the language and logging level
   1. Error means errors
   2. Warning means warnings
   3. Info means information
   4. Debug means debugging information
   5. Trace means tracing all requests.
4. Connection setup is complete.
