When creating goods of the same type, i.e. goods with similar characteristics — units of measurement, tax rates, etc., it is convenient to use the cloning option — creating an exact copy of the goods. If this option is used, it will be necessary to make only few changes in the previously specified properties for the new goods — for example, to change only the name.
To clone the goods:

• Select the goods you want to clone in the right part of the Goods window
• Use the main menu Edit > Clone document item or use the Shift+Ctrl+C key combination
  
• Make the necessary changes in the card of the cloned goods
• Save the document using the main menu Document > Save document item or the  button on the toolbar.
