For establishments that have the Delivery7 delivery system set up, the process is carried out in two stages:

  1. Migration from Delivery7 to DeliveryPos
  2. Migration from DeliveryPos to r_k Delivery.

Migration from Delivery7 to DeliveryPos

To set up the migration, simply install DeliveryPos and adapt the Firebird database for this delivery.
For DeliveryPOS to work, it is necessary to have a directory server, a cash register server connected to r_keeper 7, a CRM server (card authorization server), and Farcards installed on the computer.

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the DeliveryPos distribution from the FTP server: ftp://ftp.ucs.ru/Delivery/RK7/3_03_00 and install it
  2. Inside the folder, find the file TransferFBData.exe. This utility will allow you to create an equivalent database with UTF-8 encoding from a database with WIN1251 encoding, which is necessary for DeliveryPos to work.
    Run the utility.
  3. In the interface, in the right field database path, specify the path to the file with the Firebird database

  4. In the character set field, select WIN1251
  5. In the left field UTF8_database path specify the path to the new database for DeliveryPos
  6. In the UTF8 field, leave the default value.
  7. Click Start. The data from the WIN1251-encoded database will be transferred to the UTF-8-encoded database.
To ensure that the system works without errors, rename the old database, for example, add the prefix old- to the name.
  8. Go to the manager station in the menu Service > Plugin settings. The Plugin settings window will open.
  9. Select the plugin that was used for delivery, go to settings.
  10. In the Delivery database section, check the Path field—the path should point to the new database.
In the CharSet field, specify the UTF-8 encoding. Save the changes.

Migration from Delivery7 to DeliveryPos is complete.

Migration from DeliveryPos to r_k Delivery

Complete the migration by downloading data from DeliveryPos and loading it into the r_k Delivery system.

This process is described in detail in a separate instruction.
