Printing Labels for Single-piece Goods
To print a label for a unit goods item, select the "Single-piece" type.
After this, the goods search mode will open, where you need to select the required goods item.
If the flag "Select barcode when printing labels" is set in the print settings, a window will open for selecting the UOM of this goods item for printing on the label, with the flag "Take EAN13 from goods item property".

Check the flag "Take EAN13 from goods item property" if you need to print an external barcode from the r_k StoreHouse Pro product card (see the r_k StoreHouse Pro User Guide for details). This flag setting is saved until the login session ends.

Select the UOM for which you need to print the external barcode from the r_k StoreHouse Pro product card. If there are multiple external barcodes for one UOM, a selection will be offered. If the barcode is unique for the selected UOM, the barcode selection window will be skipped.

If the flag "Select barcode when printing labels" is not set in the print settings, then after selecting the goods item, a window will open for selecting the UOM of this goods item for printing on the label.

The icon
on the UOM button means that when this UOM is selected, a barcode will be printed on the label. For UOMs without this icon, a label without a barcode will be printed.
A barcode will be printed on the unit goods item label if a UOM was selected that is added to the "UOM mapping (for printing barcodes on labels)" in the print settings for the selected barcode printing mode Standard functionality (EAN13).
For "Extended functionality (Code128)", the barcode will be printed for any UOM on the product card.
If the flag "Set shelf life before printing" was set in the print settings, then after selecting the goods item UOM, a window for entering the shelf life in hours for the selected goods item will open.
Enter the required shelf life (default value is 0) and click
.
If the shelf life is specified on the selected goods item's card in r_k StoreHouse Pro, the shelf life entry window will not open, and regardless of the "Set shelf life before printing" setting, the shelf life from the product card will be indicated on the label.
The shelf life is calculated as:
"Packed" - the physical time of label printing
"Use by" - physical time of printing + number of hours of shelf life (either from the product card or entered manually).
If the flag "Set number of labels before printing" was set in the print settings, the window for entering the number of labels for printing will open.
Enter the required quantity (default value is 1) and click
.
After setting all parameters for printing labels, a window will open displaying their values and the label layout.

The selected UOM for printing the label for this goods item will be indicated in the "UOM" field. If the UOM has the icon
, then the barcode will not be printed on the label. If the icon is
, then the barcode will be printed.
The "UOM", "Shelf Life", and "Number of Labels" fields can be changed before printing by clicking the
button in the corresponding row. After this, the updated data will be displayed in the layout.
The "Print Date/Time" can be changed before printing by clicking the
button. Changing the time is possible only to a time not later than the current one. The date can be changed up to one day back until 09:00 AM; after that, changing the print date is not possible.
When changing the UOM, the cost of the goods item will change according to the coefficient set on the product card in r_k StoreHouse Pro.
If shelf life data is loaded from the r_k StoreHouse Pro product card, it cannot be changed. You can enter a different shelf life, but this data will not be saved.
The label layout for printing is selected in the same way as in printing labels for weighted goods.
The label layout contains information.
Information about the goods item's energy value and its cost is taken for printing from the product card in r_k StoreHouse Pro.
Cost – the calculated cost for 1 of the selected UOM. If the selected UOM for printing is not the base UOM of the goods item in r_k StoreHouse Pro, the cost will be recalculated using the UOM conversion ratios from the r_k StoreHouse Pro product card.
When determining the cost, "exceptions by enterprises" are considered according to the department set for label printing. These settings also determine which value to use for printing: "Including taxes" or "Excluding taxes".
To print the label, click the "Print Labels" button. The labels will then be sent to the printer, and a message will appear on the screen.
To determine which window opens after printing the single-piece label, select the next action in the field below the "Print Labels" button, similar to selecting the action after printing a weighted label.
To close the label layout preview window and go to the window for selecting the type of goods item for label printing, click the "Reset" button.
