We are pleased to announce release 4.9.550, released on 05/30/2025. It includes long-awaited features and fixes.

New features

• Added a setting for autofilling the amount when calculating an order. Now, when the setting Settings > Additional settings > Autofill payment amount is enabled (enabled by default), the input field will be filled automatically with the full amount to be paid. When the setting is disabled, the field will be empty.
  
  
• The function of changing the Main Waiter of an order is supported. The name of the current waiter and the operation Change waiter have been added to the curtain with the list of order operations. The operation is available only if the employee's right "Set the main waiter of the order" is enabled. The list for selection displays all waiters registered at the cash register. When you select a waiter from the list, he will become the main waiter of the order. If the waiter's right "Open any order" is disabled, when the waiter is changed, the order disappears from the list of his orders.
  
  
• The "Confirmation of manager for PDS card" right is supported when registering a loyalty card. Now, if an employee has the "Confirmation of manager for PDS card" right disabled, after selecting the Check-in operation in the list of order and card reading operations, a window will open before applying it to enter the code and password of the employee with this right.
  
• Added a "Send" button in Menu mode. Now, if an order contains unsent menu items, the Send button will be available in Menu mode.
  If the Order on the menu screen setting is disabled (Settings > Visualization settings), the Send button will be available after pressing the "Preview" button. In the preview window, you can change the composition and quantity of already selected menu items before sending.
  
  If the Order on Menu Screen setting is enabled (Settings > Visualization settings), the Send button will be immediately available on the screen. Before sending, you can change the composition and quantity of already selected menu items. Clicking on it will send ALL unsent menu items of ALL guests.
  
• Added the "+Dish" button to the order on the Guests tab. Now, if the Use guest count parameter is set to Do not use (i.e. entering the number of guests in the order is disabled), an additional +Dish button will be available at the bottom of the window on the Guests tab in the order. With other parameter values ​​(Optional property or Mandatory property), you can add a menu item in the standard way: by clicking the "+" button in the guest line.
  
  
• Added the ability to disable the "Order Properties" window. Now, if the "Order Properties" window setting is disabled (enabled by default) (Settings > Additional settings), the order window will open immediately after selecting a table for a new order. The "Order Properties" window for selecting the parameter values ​​(number of guests, order category, order type, and guest type) will not open. Recommended for use if you do not need to change the number of guests and other order parameters.
  The default parameter values ​​(downloaded from the manager settings) will be used for the order. The number of guests is always 1 by default (if the "Use guest count" parameter values ​​are Optional property or Mandatory property). However: if the Order Type and Guest Type parameters are mandatory to select and are not selected by default, the "Order Properties" window will open automatically even if the setting is disabled.
  
  

• Added display of orders as a list. Now, when the setting is enabled in the menu Settings > Visualization settings > Orders as a list, orders will be displayed as a list. In this case, more orders will fit on the screen. All order statuses are saved, but only icons are used for them. The Detailed order statuses setting (Settings > Visualization settings) will not work.  
  
  
• Added the ability to send identical courses for cooking at once. Now, if the order was used several times in the order, you can send all dishes of this order in one sending by clicking the Same Courses for Cooking button and selecting the desired course from the list. If there are no repeating courses in the order, the Same Courses for Cooking button is not displayed.
  
  

• Added a link to the user manual depending on the application language. Now, if Russian (or system Russian) is selected in the settings, selecting the User Manual section opens a link to https://docs.rkeeper.ru/mobwaiter/r_k-waiter-100335931.html, if any other language is selected (including the system language), selecting the "User Manual" section opens a link to https://docs.rkeeper.com/display/WCD/r_k+Waiter+5.
• The original order of combo components after sending an order is maintained. Now the order of combo components in the order and on the K.O.T. is saved as when selected in the combo dish (both within one combo group and for different combo groups).
  
  

Fixes

• The setting for enabling the new licensing scheme has been renamed. It is now called Licensing Scheme v.2 in the app (under Settings > Admin Settings). Licenses for the new scheme also contain the scheme version (v.2).
• Display of the sending time for deferred dishes has been returned. Now, after sending for cooking, the time of printing of the K.O.T.-reminder is displayed.
• Fixed the problem of transferring a combo meal to another guest. Now, if you partially or fully transfer a combo meal to another guest before sending it, the prices and components of the meal are displayed correctly.
• Now Android ID is used as the device ID on Android. This is the identifier displayed in the authorization window. For iOS, IdentifierForVendor is used as the device ID.
• The problem of manually entering the loyalty card number on iOS has been solved. Now you can use the input of special characters if they are used in the card number.
• The problem with entering comments on iOS has been solved. Now you can use special characters.
• Fixed display of the number of available licenses in the info window when using the old licensing scheme. Previously, when deleting licenses on an object in the licensing system, the number of available licenses in the application was not updated.
• A temporary workaround has been provided to work around the issue with the 0x00 (NUL) character in the XML body. The global solution is on the r_k side (clean the XML in the response from such characters before sending it).
• Eliminated application reactivation when switching from an old licensing scheme to a new one and vice versa. Now, when changing the licensing scheme, the instance is automatically reset.
• We have restored the process of connecting the plugin. Now the plugin is connected after re-authorization in the application. Restarting the application is not required.
• Returned the unification of menu items without a course into one block. Now on the "Courses" tab, all menu items without courses and all menu items sent for cooking from different serving orders are displayed in a single block "Without serving order".
• Fixed display of IP address and device ID on the authorization window. Now IP and ID fit completely on the screen.
