The White Server Agent should be updated first on the reference server (ref), then on the cash register servers (mid).

Agent update is possible:

  1. Remotely via a separate tab of the administrative panel
  2. Using the installer directly on the computer.

WSA versions below 2.8.x.x can be updated to this version and to newer versions only via the installer.
Versions 2.8.x.x and newer can be updated by any method.

Update via Administrative Panel

To update White Server Agent via the Administrative Panel:

  1. Go to the admin panel.
  2. Go to the Select Agents section.
  3. Find the desired agent. This can be done using the list of agents or restaurants. The principle is the same, we will show you using the example of a restaurant.
    1. Enter your object code in the Restaurant Code field
    2. Click the Find button
    3. The system will filter the list and find the restaurant.

  4. Click the plus button  next to the agent you want to update. The agent will move to the right column.
  5. Then select the desired agent version from the pop-up list when you click on the agent version selection field.

    Due to the nature of sorting, the newest agent version is not guaranteed to be at the top of the list. In the example below, version 2.7.12.1 is in the middle of the list, even though it is the newest.

  6. Click the Update button.
  7. The update process will begin. You can monitor it in the Current Updates tab.

Update via installer

To update White Server Agent via the installer:

  1. Download the required version of the agent from the file storage to the computer where the White Server Agent is installed.
  2. Click on the file. The update will then occur automatically.

Possible errors and solutions

  • If an error occurs during the update via the installer. For example:

    Install the patches according to the scheme described in the article System Requirements.
  • If after the update, when trying to create an order, the error WsaOrderError occurs: Additional order properties have not been added to R-Keeper, in the r_keeper manager panel, go to the Personnel > Employees directory. In the Central Office, a wsa User employee with full rights must be created in the WSA role, the Extended properties right is especially important.
