You can manage global settings on the management station using the "Mobile Waiter" plugin. In this case, you will not have to configure each device separately, and the set values for the parameters will be automatically downloaded to each of the devices within the restaurant. Such settings will no longer be available to the waiter in the application. At the same time, local settings (visualization settings, sorting, etc.) will remain at the waiter's disposal. Presets on the manager station
1. On the manager station, in the directory Service > Plugin settings, activate the "Mobile Waiter" plugin, create a configuration for the restaurant and set the desired parameter values in its settings. Each parameter always has a default value, and if it is not changed, then the preset value will be used.
If the plugin is not in the list, update the file upgradedevices.abs
2. Set up the required restrictions for each configuration (if there are several) in Tools > Plugin Usage.
Loading settings into the application
To ensure that the specified parameter values are loaded from the plugin to all devices, log in again on each of them. All settings from the plugin will become unavailable in the application (they will not be displayed in the Settings mode).
The "General Information" info block of the settings mode always displays the connection status to the plugin.
If the plugin is not used and has never been connected, ALL settings (both local and global) will be available in the application.
If the plugin is configured and available, all settings values will be loaded into the application. However, only local settings will remain available to the user in the application.
The settings are loaded from the plugin at the moment of user authorization in the application (updating the reference books does not affect this in any way). If the plugin is deactivated at this moment or if the application is unable to connect to the cash register server due to connection problems when the plugin is active, the cached data will be used (the latest version of the parameter values loaded from the plugin).
To completely disable the plugin and restore access to all settings in the application, you need to deactivate the plugin and reinstall the application.
