We are pleased to announce the release of version 4.9.470 dated October 3, 2024. This update includes long-awaited features and fixes.

New features

  • Authorization by bank card is supported  on the payment terminal PAX A930 (POSCENTER-BANK-01Ф) from INPAS, which has a built-in authorization module. Authorization is configured as a connection of a standard PINPad to the cash register. The payment process is managed by r_keeper. You can download the application to this terminal only from the INPAS STORE.
    How it works: after pressing the Payment button and selecting a special currency, payment control is transferred to the cash register. Upon its command to start authorization, the application launches the banking software, in which a window opens with the required amount and an invitation to attach the card. The guest attaches the card and after payment is confirmed and the payment is made, the transaction status “Success” is transferred to the cash register server. Then the check is closed at the cash register and printed on its fiscal registrar. Works with r_keeper not lower than 7.07.00.345.

  • Quick receipt mode is added. Now, when the setting is enabled in the menu Settings > Administrator settings > Operating mode > With service > Quick receipt, the button for switching to the Quick receipt mode will be available in the list of orders. In this mode, you do not need to select a table and guests, and the Checkout button will be available immediately. The order is sent automatically when you click the Checkout button. After paying for the order, a new empty order opens. The Back button returns you to the With service mode (list of orders).


  • Working with personal product coupons is supported. Now, if a product coupon is added to the loyalty card, promotional dishes provided to this guest can be selected in the order.
    To do this, you will need to: register a loyalty card, select the desired coupon from the list, add dishes (observing quotas for groups and dishes) and apply the coupon.
    The ability to select one or several dishes, use mandatory and optional modifiers, and automatically add a dish to an order is supported. 


  • NFC reading for loyalty cards is added. Cards and bracelets with MiFare chips are now supported.

 

  • A message about table occupancy is added. If the waiter does not have the permission "Open any order," when selecting a "free" table (which is actually occupied by another waiter), a notification will appear:


  • Centralized management of application settings is implemented. Now it is enough to connect the "Mobile Waiter" plugin, set the desired values ​​for all parameters (global settings) and specify its use. All settings from the plugin will be applied to all devices. Settings that are not in the plugin are considered local and are always available in the application. The info block displays the plugin connection status. If the plugin is deactivated, cached data will be used. To completely disable the plugin and return access to all settings in the application, you need to deactivate the plugin and reinstall the application. Works with r_keeper not lower than 7.07.00.374.
      
  • The "Open price" mark for a dish is supported. Now, for dishes with an open price, you can change the price using a new operation . The price can be changed for both sent and unsent dishes.


  • A feature to view the list of prohibited and restricted dishes is added. Now, in Menu mode, simply select the new operation and 2 lists will be displayed in an additional window: Prohibited dishes (out-of-stock list) and Limited dishes with their current balance. 


  • Early unblocking of orders upon re-establishing a connection with the cash server has been implemented. If due to network failures it was not possible to send a request to the cash register server to unblock the order, the order remains blocked on all devices until it is automatically unblocked by the cash register server in 1.5 minutes. But if the connection is not restored in 1.5 minutes, the order will be unblocked at the cash register, but not in the application. In the application, the order will be unblocked as soon as the connection with the cash register server is restored (this may happen either earlier than 1.5 minutes or later). To speed up the unblocking process, it is recommended to move the device to a stable connection area. As soon as the connection is found, the order will be unblocked and the list of orders will be automatically updated.

  • Search optimization considering the national alphabet (Lithuanian) is implemented. Now you don't need to use special characters to search the menu by dish name. 
  • An indicator for system logging access is added to the info block. Now, if there are any problems with the application, you don't need to send logs to support manually. You just need to create a ticket, provide the restaurant code, describe the problem and the time period when it occurred. The "Send logs to support" operation was removed from the list.


Fixes

  • The problem with confirming the weight of a dish if the weight was not changed was solved. Previously, for dishes with the "1 weight change" mark, when changing the weight to the same, the weight change was not confirmed and the "Scales" icon was not removed. Works with r_keeper not lower than 7.07.00.360.

  • Duplication of quantity when repeatedly selecting a dish from the menu was eliminated. Previously, when choosing a second portion of a dish with the setting "Separate line for each portion," the total quantity was incorrectly set to 3 instead of 2.

  • Problem when paying for an order with the amount of xx.x9 is fixed. If the cents in the amount ended with the number 9, in the Calculation mode when entering the entire order amount and selecting any currency, the application required an additional payment of 0.01
  • The problem of selecting the device type for check-in was solved. Previously, the application always used the "magnetic card" device type by default. And check-in did not work when selecting a different device type for the MCR algorithm. Now the card reading occurs successfully when selecting the same values ​​for the device type in the application and for the MCR algorithm on the manager station. If the "Loyalty card reader type" is selected as "not set" in the application, then the "Magnetic card" type must be set for the MCR algorithm. Guaranteed to work with r_keeper not lower than 7.07.00.359.
  • Printing of the order of submission on the K.O.T.-reminder when sending a course for cooking is restored
  • Unambiguous identification of dishes sent to the cash register is supported. Previously, if dishes were sent and successfully saved at the cash register, but the application did not receive a positive response from the cash register server, it was considered that the dishes were not saved. A repeated successful attempt resulted in duplicate dishes in the order.
  • Changed the snackbar background to green. Now there are no problems with reading messages in light and dark themes.
