Licensing

Kiosk PRO requires 2 licenses to operate:

License for Kiosk PRO - R-Keeper Self-service kiosk PRO module
License for XML interface - R-Keeper XML for Kiosk PRO Software module

Note

For the app to work, you need a free license R-Keeper XML for Kiosk PRO Software module. If it didn't get added automatically, order it separately. Make sure you don't mix up the name; you need exactly this one. It's necessary for the XML interface to work.

To license Kiosk PRO, you must purchase one of the master licenses from the licensing system and, of course, a license for the XML integration module.

After receiving the master license for the R-Keeper XML for Kiosk PRO module software, you need to generate an active license in the licensing system.

Master licenses for 12 months are selected in the Product Type – Subscription License section.

The license is generated directly at the kiosk itself.
When you launch it for the first time, the Licensing section will immediately appear. In the future, you must enter the Licensing section from the manager section of the kiosk (Service menu).
Enter your dealer account login and password.

If the login or password is entered incorrectly, an authorization error will appear:

If a license is missing or the object codes do not match, an error will appear:

Next, a window will appear to select the license type and license expiration date.

Select a license type.

The license type is specified in accordance with the purchased master license (if several master licenses for a kiosk are purchased, all corresponding license types will be available for selection).
When specifying the license type, the current keys are then displayed

and the key is marked if a license was previously generated for the Kiosk.

By default, the maximum license expiration date is displayed (for perpetual licenses this is 01/01/2100).

If you need to change the license expiration date, use the calendar (appears when you click on the field with the license expiration date).

When re-generating a license, only the maximum license expiration date is available for selection, but if the license expiration date was changed during the previous generation, then the following dates will be available for selection: from the license expiration date during the previous generation to the maximum license expiration date.

Tap Generate License.
If the previous steps are completed correctly, the message “License generated successfully” will appear.

The Kiosk will restart.
The initial download screen displays the Kiosk PRO software version.

And then the Kiosk will open on the start page.
