We present the release of version 4.9.530 dated April 2nd, 2025. In this release we introduce long-awaited features and fixes.
New Features
- The ability to repeat an order for another guest has been implemented. To do so, select the operation "Repeat Order" from the guest's operations list. Set the number of menu items if needed, choose the guest to whom the order should be duplicated, then click "Repeat." All menu items will be added to the selected guest in the specified quantity. The list for repetition includes all menu items of the guest—both undelivered and delivered ones.
- We have changed the color of orders with partial guest bill. Now, orders with full and partial guest bills are distinguished by different colors in the order list.
- Deletion of sent menu items with selection of quantity is now supported. After selecting the menu items for deletion and clicking on the "Delete" button, a window opens where you can specify the quantity to delete. Once you've chosen the reason and confirmed the action, the selected portion of the menu items will be deleted.
- We moved the menu item quantity field to the beginning of the row. Now, in the order, the field showing the quantity of the dish appears before its name. Clicking on it allows editing the quantity.
- KDS Status "In Progress" is now supported. Dish preparation stages are displayed using four statuses: "Sent," "Get started," "Ready," and "Handed over."
- Selection of initial selector for Menu Tree is available. When the setting "Menu Tree" is enabled under Settings > Administrator Settings > Additional Settings, a field for entering the identifier of the initial choice selector becomes active.
- Sorting of menu tree selectors and their elements is supported. Button order is set within the selector itself at the Manager Station.
- Recommended dishes functionality is supported. If recommended items are defined on the menu item card at the Manager Station, a button "Add Recommended" will become available for the corresponding menu item both in the order and in the menu. Upon pressing it, a window listing recommended menu items will open. Select the desired items and they will be added to the order.
- A loyalty card information window has been added. Now, after checking in the card on the screen, information about the card will appear.
- Support for packaging work in EU countries has been implemented. If packaging (container) is added to the menu item properties, it will automatically be added to the order when selecting the menu item. The price of the packaging is displayed separately in the row with the packaging. The quantity of packaging changes automatically when changing the quantity of the menu item. Editing or deleting the packaging row is not possible. Packaging is unavailable in the menu. In edit mode, packaging does not display.
- Biometric authentication has been added to the application. This login option can only be used with personal smartphones. To enable this feature, you need to turn on the setting "Allow biometrics usage" in the plugin. After enabling this, the Biometry setting will become available under Settings > Additional settings > Biometry. By default, it is turned off. If a user decides to use biometric data for app authorization, they must enable this setting. Then confirm their identity (fingerprint scan or facial parameters check will be performed). Upon successful verification, the parameter will activate.
Next, by default, the biometric reading invitation will always open in the login window.
- Tariffication support has been introduced. Works with r_keeper version 7.25.04 and above! Now, rated devices (RD) can be managed within the application. RD's are marked with an icon resembling a stopwatch in the Hall table list. Tariffication can be enabled either by creating an order at a RD or adding a RD to a usual table using the new operation called "Tariff"
Before launching tariffication, its parameters can be specified. The tariff title is always shown in the block with parameters. When creating an order on a RD to start tariffication, click Create Order. However, if RD starts on a standard table, press Start.
Tariffication in the order appears as a separate block titled "Tariff" and may have three statuses: Enabled (green background), Paused (gray background), and Completed (purple background). It includes control buttons for tariffication management: Pause, Continue, and Complete.
All actions related to tariffication can be viewed by opening the list. A row where time counting has already stopped can be deleted via the "Trash" button.
If there is unfinished tariffication in an order, it is marked with a Stopwatch icon in the orders list. If tariffication is running on a RD, it cannot be started again on this same RD nor can this RD be used in another order. - We now support schedule (accessibility list) for discounts/murkups. Discounts/murkups outside the schedule no longer show up in the selection list.
