This directory is necessary for recoding card data.
The example below describes the configuration of the card recoding mechanism, specifically: recoding a card with code "112233" to code "7788". To add other recodings, repeat Step 2 for each set of input data.
Step 1
Go to the MCR Algorithms directory (Service > Device Signal Processing > MCR Algorithms).
Copy the standard MCR Algorithm "Personal Debit (PDS)" (code: 112).
Make it active and set the following properties:
Def Name — PDS Recoding;
Alt. Def Name — PDS Decoded;
Algorithm Type — Prefix;
Prefix — PDS;
Recoding Mode — Replace Input Data.
Step 2
Go to the Input Data Replacaments directory (Service > Device Signal Processing > Input Data Replacaments).
Create a new object and fill in the properties as follows:
Input Data — 112233;
Output Data — PDS 7788.
Step 3
In the MCR Algorithm debugging window, ensure that when swiping a card with the previously entered code (112233), the PDS Recoding algorithm triggers with parameter 7788. Alternatively, in the order editing window, verify that information is requested from the correct PDS card.
