The technology of interchangeable menu items involves replacing one item with a similar one within one category; it is not a deletion of the item.
To set up substitutions, determine within which classification the items can be interchanged.
To do this, define the classification and distribute the menu items into categories. For example, interchangeability within the category of menu items "Drinks", "Dessert", "Food". The item "Strawberry dessert" belongs to the category "Dessert", can be replaced in the order with the item "Tiramisu" and cannot be replaced with an item belonging to another category.
In the “Interchangeable dishes classification” parameter, specify a reference to the classification of items within which interchangeability of items at the cash register will occur.
