Opening Sh.rpt

Find the ShSH.exe file  file on the desktop:

A folder with the StoreHouse 5 installation files will be opened. Find Sh.rpt file there. The Sh.rpt file This file specifies correspondences between reports names in the program and the layout files.

Open the Sh.rpt file. By default, the operating system does not recognize the file, so open the file and click the link click Use the application from this PC.
Select Notepad or Notepad++ in the suggested list:

Each file line corresponds to a report in the StoreHouse 5 program. After translating each report, save it with a new name. By opening this file in the process, you will be able to track the progress of the translation and the remaining reports.

Report layouts are edited in the layout editor, which can be opened via StoreHouse 5. Run Sh.exe and log in with your username and password.

By default, the username is Admin and there is no password.
Open the report to edit it. In the top menu, click Reports and select the desired required report. Let us start with the first one — the balance sheet.  Balance statement.

The Report settings window opens. You don't need to fill it out, leave all the fields as they are and just click Apply.

Now find the File section in the main menu and click on the link Report designerselect Report builder...:

The program will display a list of available layouts. Select the layout you want to edit. Since you need to translate all the layouts, let us start with the first one. Select the layout and click Edit: 

Agree to the confirmation by clicking Yes.

As a result, it will open Layout editor. It is necessary to make a translation The translation should be made there.

Each layout consists of 2 elements:

  • Plain text - headings, units of measurement, currencies, etc.;
  • Bands with variables and scripts. Usually in English.

It is necessary to translate the text elements. Variables and other elements do not need to be edited. The variables are enclosed in [Square brackets]
To edit an element, left-click it 2 times or once with the right mouse button and the Edit linkright-click once and select Edit:

As a result, the item editing menu opens. Replace the original text with the translation:

Click OK. The text of the element will change:

Translate the remaining elements.
Save the layout by pressing Ctrl + S or the floppy disk iconImage Added. Close the layout editor by clicking the crossImage Added in the upper-right corner. If you have not saved the layout before, the program will offer to save it when closing.
After closing, the system will ask you what to name for the new layout name. The Russian name will be indicated shown in the Report name field. It needs to be translated.
Replace the Russian name with the English one in a required language and click OK

That's it, the layout has been translated.
Please note that the new name will be applied only after restarting the program. Therefore, to check the translation, close and open the program again.
