A Color Scheme is a specially designed collection of colors applied to various form elements including panels, buttons, fonts, and highlighted areas. Using color schemes allows users to modify the visual appearance of cash registers.

If multiple color schemes are available, the cash register can have several different color themes which will be chosen based on settings specified in the Usage of Color Schemes directory.
To utilize these color schemes, preliminary configurations need to be made in the screen layout editor. Specifically, in the properties defining background and font object colors, placeholder values representing substitution colors should be assigned.

Substitution color values are selected from the Color Mappings group under the color scheme properties.
