You can connect the application (auto setup) by scanning the QR generated by the r_keeper cash station.
For that make the following steps:
To open the QR code form, at the cash station in the main menu, select Service menu > Mobile waiter > Set up connection with a mobile waiter.
The user must have the right to set up a connection with a mobile waiter to access this menu section. |
4. You will see a window with a QR code containing encoded information about the IP address and port of the cash register server, authorization token, station ID and enterprise code.
If multiple stations are configured in the manager's r_keeper, a list of stations will be provided for selection. Select the station on behalf of which this app instance will work.
Configuring each app instance to have its own station will help to avoid unauthorized order blocking and make more detailed reports. |
With each authorization a temporary password is issued. The password is valid until the end of the day. The login is "MOBWAITER${stationId}${pin}". The password is updated automatically when an employee logs into the application. Next, the received login and password will be used for all http requests. |
5. Point your phone camera to scan the QR code.
6. After successful code scan a screen will open to enter the employee code.
If the app gives an error when scanning the code, try scanning it again or use manual settings entry.
8. If communication with the cash register server is established the indicator will be green.
If you need to prohibit a particular employee from using the Mobile Waiter 5 app, reset the settings using the service menu at the cash register station. Steps for that:
