To save receipt paper, guests can receive their receipts via email or by phone number.
To send an electronic receipt, you must specify the guest's phone number or email before payment.
Sending to email has priority. If it is set, the phone is ignored.
If you need to send an electronic receipt by phone number, you should not fill in the email, only the phone number.
Sending an electronic receipt when paying from the establishment's interface
To send a guest an electronic receipt when paying for an order from the establishment's interface:
- When creating an order, at the step of choosing a payment method, specify the guest's email

- When paying, activate the switch Send Receipt to Email.

Sending an electronic receipt when paying at the cash register
When paying for an order at the cash register, sending an electronic receipt can be done in two ways:
- If the guest has asked to send an electronic receipt, fill in their phone number or email in the user properties before payment. More details in the article Electronic receipt
- Or set up a receipt type selection before payment. Then, when paying for an order, the cashier will need to choose in what form to send the receipt to the guest: printed, by SMS or email.
