  • The base unit of measurement in a group of units of measure UOMs is the unit of measure against measurement regarding which the coefficients of other units of measure UOMs in this group will be calculated. The group's base unit factor coefficient is 1.
  • Within a group of units of measure, the assignment of the group's base unit of measure is mandatoryUOMs, it is obligatory to select the base UOM.

The reference window " Units of measurement " window is divided into two parts. In the The left part of the Units of measurement window there are includes groups of units of measurementUOMs, in and the right part of include the window there are units of measurement belonging to these groups.

When you create the Store House StoreHouse database, some of the information on UOMs and groups of units of measure and units of measure UOMs is preset.
There are three groups at once in the database : "— Volume", "Portion" and "Weight". And for each group, standard (for the group) units of measurement are defined.
Volumetric - "L" and "ML". "ML" - basic in the group
Portion - "Portion"
Weight - "KG" and "G". "G" - basic in the group:

  • Volume — L and ML. ML is the group base UOM
  • Portion — Portion
  • Weight — KG and G. G is the group base UOM.
