Introduction

You can import goods self cost from StoreHouse 5 into r_keeper 7. If you need the instruction for StoreHouse 4, you can find it in the corresponding article

Library Copying

To configure the import of goods self cost, copy all DLL files from the StoreHouse folder, and then make necessary settings at the manager station. Do not forget to configure the goods self cost in StoreHouse, so that there was the data to import.

  1. Download the archive with library files from the FTP server ftp://ftp.ucs.ru/StoreHouse 5/_utils/sh5rki/
  2. Unpack the archive into the reference server folder. Agree to replace the files.
  3. Unpack the archive into the manager station folder. Agree to replace the files.
  4. Copy RTL60.BPL from the StoreHouse5\Client installation folder into the reference server and manager station folder.
  5. Restart the reference server and the manager station. 

Manager Station Settings

  1. Launch the manager station.
  2. Go to Service > Data export > SH databases configurations 
  3. Create a new link for the StoreHouse database under 
    Enter the following into the settings:
    1. User Name, for instance, Admin.
    2. Server:portfor StoreHouse  In contrast to StoreHouse 4, you so not need to specify the full connection string here, server:port will be enough.
    3. User password
    4. StoreHouse Versionin the drop-down menu
  1. Create a new self cost item in the Menu > Self-cost Type
  2. Specify the namefor the cost of goods sold.
  3. Tick the following tickboxes in the settings:
    • Use in reports;
    • Allow redefinitions.
  4. In the StoreHouse settingsfield, select the setting, created earlier in the Databases configuration.
  5. Optionally, you can specify the Goods grouphere - in quotes, exactly as in StoreHouse. This setting is not mandatory, it can be made immediately before import. You can list multiple goods groups separated with spaces or commas.
  6. Set Active
  7. Save settings.

Import Launch

There are two methods for launching the import: directly from the menu or through data imports.

  1. On the manager's station go to Service > Data Import > Import Self-cost Data from StoreHouse.
  2. Select the Type of the cost of goods soldcreated in step 4.
  3. Select Directory Elements.
  4. Select the Division keyfrom the dropdown menu.
  5. If you need to specify a goods group, do it manually in quotes, exactly as in StoreHouse. You can list multiple goods groups separated with spaces or commas. For example, Restaurant menu.
  6. If necessary, select the Date, Element type, Directory elementsand Calculation method.
  7. Click OK
    .
  8. Click OK.

To quickly import only a selected menu group, launch the import directly from the menu. To do this:

  1. In the manager station go to the Menu > Menu.
  2. Right click the selected menu group.
  3. Choose Actions > Import the cost of goods sold from StoreHouse
    .
  4. Configure import details as described above and perform the launch.

Troubleshooting

Issue Import cannot be launched. The Unable to find the sh5rki.dll library. Import from StoreHouse 5 unavailable error is output.

Reason. Necessary libraries are missing in the manager station folder.
Solution. Check the availability of all required files at the manager station and add the following if needed:

  • sh5rki.dll
  • SdbCli.dll
  • msdset.dll
  • RTL60.BPL
  • domm.dll

Restart the directories server and the manager station. Check again.

Issue. Import cannot be launched. The following error is output: Error import costs (dll: sdbcli.dll, error: [-2147482645] Server library procedure error 1003.

Reason. An enterprise stands for the restaurant in r_keeper_7. Restaurant menu groups are linked to the enterprise. Consequently, when importing, you should select a division linked to the correct enterprise.
Solution. Link divisions to the correct enterprise.

Restart the directories server and the manager station. Check again.
