Basic reference books and concepts of the system

The main menu of the manager application contains the following items: User, Menu, Personnel, Order, Money, Settings, Reports, Service, Extensions, Help, Interactive Reports (IR) and Window.

The main menu item Personnel contains the editors of reference books:

• Directory of Employees
• Directory of Employee Groups
• Directory of Consummators
• Directory of Awards / Penalties
• Directory of Brigades
• Directory of Serving Positions
• Directory of Rights
• Directory of Checklists
• Directory of Usage of Checklists
  

The main menu item Order contains the following directory editors:

• Directory of Periods
• Directory of Trade Groups
• Directory of Trade Groups Usage
• Directory of Order Types
• Directory of Order Categories
• Directory of Order Categories Usage
• Directory of Guest Types
• Directory of Order Voids
• Directory of Entrance Card Types
  

The main menu item Money contains the following directories:

• Directory of Currency
• Directory of Rate classes
• Directory of Cash Storage Locations
• Directory of Defaulter Types
• Directory of Discounts and Markups
• Directory of Discount Compositions
• Directory of Discounts and Markups Usage
• Directory of Bonus Types
• Directory of Taxes
• Directory of Fiscal Groups

In the Reports section using OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) technologies (Cubes), one can create and edit reports and reporting forms.
The Extensions item contains a set of references for configuring the operation of Interactive Reports:

The Settings and Service items contain specialized directories and settings. 

The Help section contains information about the program that you can refer to if necessary:

The Window item contains settings for the location of the windows that open.

Connection to the server

The indicator of connection to the directory server in the manager application is a circle in the upper left corner of the main menu panel.

If it is green, there is a connection to the server. If the circle is red, there is no connection to the server.

The color of the directory server icon in the notification area:  — the server is preparing for work, — free, — performing a long operation (for example, recalculating "cubes").
