The properties of the combo meal contain the following groups.

Main

Code – a unique code of the directory element in the system. It is assigned automatically, but can be changed manually;
Name – the name of the directory element;
Alt Name – the name of the element in an alternative language;
Status – the status of the directory element;

Combo

Combo discount – more about combo discounts
Join mode – the principle of joining a combo. If it is possible to assemble this menu item from the regular menu items of the order.

  • Can be joined – a combo meal can be assembled using the "join combo" button or added to the order in the standard way (first, a combo meal is added and its items are selected from the scheme) 
  • No – you can add a combo to an order only in the standard way (first, add a combo dish and select its items from the scheme)
  • For assembly only – you can add combos to your order only using the "assemble combo" button

Combo scheme – a scheme, the combo items of which will be offered at the cash register when choosing this menu item;
Use during assembly - the principle of splitting a combo

  • Can be split – a previously assembled combo meal can be broken down into separate dishes (menu items)
  • No – the combo meal cannot be broken down into its components.

Portions:
Add line mode – this property has three values:

  • Join – identical menu items at the cash register will be summed up, that is, displayed in one line;
  • Separate line – the dish will be added as a separate line at the cash register;
  • Separate line for each portion – menu items with a specified weight will be added in separate lines.

Mass Alt Name – designation of the name of the measuring unit on the receipt in an alternative language;
Confirm Quantity – restriction on adding a menu item to an order in excess of the specified value, if the employee does not have the right "Enter quantity in excess of limit".
Don't pack  If this flag is set, then when performing the "Packaging" operation at the cash register, the quantity of the menu item in different lines is not summed up at the level of one package. For portioned menu items, the flag is set automatically (since portions of a weighed menu item, as a rule, have different weights).
Measuring unit type – directory of units of measurement. The selected value is transmitted to the fiscal receipt attribute "Quantity measure of the item being calculated" (Tag 2108). If no value is provided, pieces are used by default.
Mass Name – name of the unit of weight measurement. The property is displayed in the invoice layout.

Schedule (Accessibility List)
The schedule of work (accessibility) of menu items for each restaurant. The default period is "Always". If the menu item should not be displayed in the restaurant, select the preset period "Never" (the menu item will also not be imported into the StoreHouse database).
If necessary, you can specify a different period set in the "Periods", directory, for example, to display breakfasts from 9 to 11 am.


Basic
Bar Codes – in case of using barcodes to select menu items in the order by scanning, the barcode is entered in this field. You can enter several barcodes for one menu item. To do this, use the button  to enter the barcode entry table.

In the Barcodes field, enter the barcode of the menu item, no longer than 20 characters. In the Quantity field, enter the number of portions of the menu item that will be added to the order when this barcode is scanned.

To add a new barcode, use the Add pop-up menu command or the Ins key. To delete a barcode, use the Delete pop-up menu command or the Ctrl + Del key combination.
You can enter the barcode by scanning.

Group Path – the field is filled in automatically and displays the path to the menu item in the hierarchy tree;
Item kind – when creating a menu item, the field is set to "Product". You can select the following item kinds (all item kinds are stored in the "Enumerated properties" directory (Settings - Setup - Enumerated properties)) :

  • Payment
  • Product
  • Excisable goods
  • Work
  • Service
    The item kind is printed on the fiscal receipt.

Tax group – the relation of this menu item to the tax group; for each restaurant you can specify its own tax group;

Complementary:
Change to Combo   a field for selecting a combo menu item. 

  • Example: For the menu item "Meat Paella" the value in the change to combo is set to the combo item "Business Lunch". When adding this menu item to the order, we can replace it with a business lunch by clicking just one button Change to combo.

Comment – ​​in this field you can additionally enter any text comment for the menu item, which will be available at the cash register in the upper area of ​​the “Recipe” form;

Cooking:
Cooking time – a property in which you can specify the cooking time of a menu item.
If the Use Reminder Time and Calculate Reminder Time parameters are set to "True", the cooking time of the menu will be used to automatically calculate the reminder time: "serving time value" minus "cooking time".
If the packet contains menu items with different cooking times, the reminder time will be calculated based on the cooking time of the menu item that takes longer to cook.
It can be utilized to monitor kitchen operations as well as by the KDS (Kitchen Display System), particularly during the execution of the "Split by Courses" operation.

Recipe – in this field, you can enter a recipe for preparing a menu item that will be available at the cash register, in the lower area of ​​the “Recipe” form;
Course – automatic course sequence.

Restrictions: 
Minimal rest – menu items that have this property defined can be restricted for sale at the cash register in the "Order Control"/"Limited Menu Items" window.
When the minimum balance is reached, it is possible to set up a K.O.T. print with a warning that this menu item is running out. The system can also be set up so that when the quantity reaches zero, the menu item becomes unavailable for adding to the order. At the cash register, in the "Control of balances" window, only those menu items are available that are included in the trade group specified in the restaurant property (reference Stations and devices) in the line SH Trade group

Right Level – restricting access to a menu item at the cash register;
Starting sale – time and date of start of sales of the menu item;
Ending sale – time and date of end of sales of the menu item; Outside the sales period, the menu item is not available to add to the order.

Modifiers:
Modifier Weight – The maximum total number of combo items that can be selected from all groups in the scheme (the weights of all used items are added up and the sum is compared to the value in the Items Weight property).
A value of "0" in this field means that there is no limit on the total number of items per menu item (but the weight limit of the items is checked).

Prices:
Open Price – If this flag is set, the station worker can enter the price manually (if he has the “Enter open price” right).
This flag can be used, for example, with a menu item such as “Custom Dish" (or cocktail), which is prepared according to the guest's preferences. The price for this menu item may be entered after consulting with the chef or once the menu item has been prepared.

Visual Type 

Background color — the background color of the button. The color can be selected from the list or from the palette, which is called up by double-clicking the left mouse button in the property value area
Arrange Style — the relative position of the image and text
Image — select an image for the object
Text color — the color can be selected from the list or from the palette, which is called by double-clicking the left mouse button in the value area.

Printing :
Short Name – name of the directory element when printing on a narrow printer. In order for the value of this property to be used when printing, in the document layout you must select the property "Short name" instead of the "Name" property; Can also be used for display in the menu at the cash register (configured in the parameter Format of menu item names).
Alt Short Name – the name of a directory element in an alternative language when printed on a narrow printer.

Affiliation
The group shows the belonging of menu items to trade groups.

Classifications – This property allows you to include a menu item in a specific category within the classifications.
If a menu item does not belong to any category, then in the Classifications directory it will be in the root node of the classifications, but excluded from all its categories. In reports by categories, these menu items will be allocated to a separate group without a category.

Price additions:

Main - combo meal price. 
Cost price - the cost price of the combo meal, can be entered manually.
